January 9th - 10th 2026 Whānau gathered at Tieke Marae to wānanga focusing on reconnecting with our marae and strengthening the bonds between one another. The wānanga provided an opportunity for uri to learn and practise karanga, waiata, and tikanga, while sharing kōrero and time together on the marae. These moments of learning and reconnection are important for keeping our tikanga alive and ensuring our knowledge continues to be passed on to future generations.
